Air Caraïbes and Corsairfly sign historic agreement
On Thursday, April 7, two airlines, Air Caraïbes and Corsairfly, signed a business partnership on the development of the line Paris-Saint Martin. The objective of this agreement is to meet the growing demand on this line.
A historic agreement between these two French companies, since under the terms of this agreement, passengers of Air Caraïbes are now able, since last Thursday, to fly on Corsairfly and vice versa.
Three weekly rotations are offered to passengers on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and cover 1,300 seats per week. The agreement also allows both companies to reduce their costs in an economic environment that remains fragile.
Subsidiary company of the group TUI, Corsairfly claims to be the second regular French long-haul international airline. Moreover, Air Caraïbes specializes in serving the Caribbean and Guyana.

WTM - World Travel Market
The AHSM and the Office of Tourism of St. Martin will participate again at the WTM Travel Market Show, which occured this year from Monday 08 to Thursday 11 November 2010 in London.
The annual World Travel Market (WTM) in London is a must for the global tourism industry. It is for actors of global tourism industry, a unique opportunity to meet, establish a knowledge network, negotiate, conclude contracts and to keep fully informed of the latest developments in their industry.
Wedding Show in Guadeloupe
The AHSM participates in the 17th Salon du Mariage, of 26 to 28 February 2010 in Guadeloupe.
ITB Show in Berlin
The AHSM exhibiting at ITB, one of the major trade shows in Europe, taking place in Berlin from March 10 to 14, 2010.

The Vakantiebeurs Show in Holland
The AHSM exhibits at Vakantiebeurs, from Wednesday 13 to Sunday, January 17, 2010 in Utrecht in the Netherlands.
The annual event Vakantiebeurs is a key event for tourism professionals, with nearly 1,400 exhibitors from around the world.

The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association is the gathering of the Caribbean Hotel Associations.
The AHSM is the official member of the CHTA in Saint Martin, Member of the Board.
Each year, AHSM and his counterparts from St Maarteen provide one of the largest delegations in this room to ensure the influence of our destination.
Two major events on the U.S. market
The AHSM present in two prestigious events:
• On January 19 in Miami
• On January 21 in New York
Through the establishment of the new organization of the Office of Tourism to the U.S. in partnership with Atout France, two big parties are organized.
Presentations, invitations, exhibitions, dinner and entertainment, recovery of assets of our island. Alongside the authorities of St Martin and their institutional action, hoteliers ensure the consistent presentation of all the professional potential of the island during the sessions for professionals.
This presence is ensured with the help of our sales representatives a permanent bases on the market that provide North américians, daily for St. Martin professionals, retailers, event organizers...

The AHSM members welcomed from 8 to 12 January 2010, on a discovery trip, 11 travel agents from various U.S. states.
A comprehensive program of site visits and the major activities in conjunction with the Office of Tourism, our correspondents on the North American market Atout France, to discover and promote the charms and assets of the destination and known in depth Hotels St. Martin.
The AHSM is proud to share the results of evaluation visits to hotels in St Martin conducted by U.S. travel agents who participated in the Fam Trip in January 2010.
These travel agents have been selected by Atout France USA and visited our Island in January 2010.
The questionnaires were completed outside the intervention AHSM and collected by the Tourist Office of St Martin.
We note the excellent results of all hotels in St Martin!
Overall average rating of 11 hotels: 7.9 on 10
2 get a grade higher than 9 on 10
5 receive a score equal to or greater than 8 on 10
9 are above 7 on 10
This new assessment visit confirms, once again, the permanence of good perception of our hotel product already revealed by previous visits as well as the results of satisfaction surveys "customers".
They are also confirmed by the loyalty of our customers!
The criteria most commonly assessed are the original character of our institutions from across the Caribbean, atmosphere "European", the "French touch", the environment, and size of accommodation.
This was also the consecration of renovation efforts largely undertaken by a significant number of our members, permanently and especially over the last 5 years and we still continue.
